This Chinese herbal medicine course is classified according to the basic theory and directly combined with the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
It is different from the general classification of Chinese herbal medicine course which according to the used parts or chemical components of the medicinal materials in TCM. This course is cooperated with Mae Fah Luang University in Thailand. In
addition to learning about Chinese herbal medicines with the same/similar functions through the introduction of Thai herbs, Taiwanese students can also receive the knowledge of Thai herbal medicine, which greatly increases their interest in learning.

簡述
After obtaining his Ph.D. in pharmacy, Dr. Wen-Te Chang conducted postdoctoral research at the Academia Sinica and Leiden University in the Netherlands. He returned to Taiwan and taught at the Department of Chinese Medicinal Resources at China Medical University's College of Chinese Medicine, where he was responsible for teaching courses such as pharmacognosy, introductory traditional Chinese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine formulation, and development of herbal products.
In 2012, he was invited to be a visiting professor at the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at the University of Westminster in the United Kingdom, where he taught courses on traditional Chinese medicine formulation and processing and supervised the master's students in completing the Best Thesis Award research of the year. Starting in 2013, he began offering Chinese medicine courses in English for international students at China Medical University.
