thecombfiltereffect.

Untilnow,compensatingforthedelaybetweenthemicrophoneshad
tobedonemanually-anextremelytimeconsumingandinaccurate
process.

Auto-Alignwill"listen"toyourmulti-micrecordingand
automaticallymeasureandcompensateforthedelaybetweenthe
microphones,orbetweenaDIboxandamicrophone-sample
accurately,significantlyreducingthecombfiltereffectand
dramaticallyimprovingtheresultingsound.

Whendistantmicrophonesareusedandadelayisdesiredto
enhancethesenseofspace,Auto-Aligncantime-placethe
microphonestobettermatchtheclose-mic'edsourceandtherefore
minimizethecombfiltereffect.Auto-Aligncanalsoautomatically
detectareversedpolaritymicandcompensateforit.
